Southwest Cuisine with Chef Donna Nordin

Chef Donna Nordin, considered one of the pioneers of modern Southwest cuisine, was the owner and Executive Chef of Cafe Terra Cotta (Tucson and Scottsdale, Arizona). Donna has an illustrious background in the food world.  Author of The Cafe Terra Cotta Cookbook, she was nominated for the James Beard Award.  Donna, who was classically trained in Paris at both the Cordon Bleu and Lenotre, has appeared on PBS' television series Great Chefs of the West. Both Chef Nordin and Julia Child were featured in a Bon Appetit Christmas issue, but it was Donna's chocolate torte that was picked for the magazine's coveted cover!

        Duck Breast with Mole and Mango Salsa

         Chocolate Mousse Torta (the cover recipe for Bon Appetit)

     

Price:  $110 (includes cooking class and a full sit-down dinner with wines)
